Song Description

As the title suggests, it’s a song that gives a flavour of tradional Alpine yodelling..

Musical Description

The chord and melody patterns follow a traditional form of Swiss / Austrian / Tyrolean yodelling, particularly the chorus which follows a sub-dominant, tonic, dominant, tonic formula, which often finds its way into American country music. The rhythm also reflects the polka with its 2/4 feel.
